Along the well known promenade that starts in the centre of Tirolo one can reach Tirolo castle, in which lies the South Tyrolean Museum of History and Culture.

With the cable car one can reach the mountain station Hochmuth - Cima Muta (1351 m) within a few minutes. Enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery with panorama views of the Adige valley and Merano.

Here is the Merano High Mountain Trail, a mountain path that encompasses the reserve of the Tessa mountains or one can start a hike to the Mutspitz - Cima Muta.

There are numerous hiking trails, from easy, uncomplicated descents to the cable car valley station of the Hochmuth to the unique Spronser Seen tour and the mountain peaks of the Texel Group.
