The Plan de Corones, the ski mountain no. 1 of South Tyrol in Pusteria valley, is the ideal destination for those who decide to spend their holidays in the cold season. No limit are laid down for the winter sports.

The slopes are continually prepared excellently and guarantee perfect snow conditions from the beginning of December till the end of April.

From Riscone - Reischach to the summit of Plan de Corones (2,275 meters). Gondola-type aerial cableways, two valley runs, each 5 km long. Ski arena for children and beginners at the valley station.

With 116 km of slopes and modern lifts, Plan de Corones - Kronplatz is the mountain for for families, sophisticated skiing and snowboarding. Its ample and sunny plateau and long ski runs all the way down to the valley in three cardinal directions are a real treat for sun lovers.

The Nature.Fitness.Park Kronplatz - Dolomiti is one of Europe's largest Nature.Fitness.Parks, at the foot of the Plan de Corones - Kronplatz in the Dolomites, extending from Brunico via Valdaora, all the way to Rasun and the Antholz valley.

With more then 285 km of trails (marked with signs) offering both easy and more-difficult tours, you can enjoy Nordic Walking to your heart's content, amid the wondrous natural beauty of the Kronplatz - Plan de Corones and the Dolomites.

Nature parks

The Nature park Vedrette di Ries-Aurina - Rieserferner-Ahrn is the second-largest nature park in South Tyrol, and is famed for its extraordinarily contrastive scenery and variety.

The nature park Fanes-Senes-Braies - Fanes-Sennes-Prags is composed of thick forests, large pastures, and colorful mountain prairies.
