Nova Levante in South Tyrol is embedded in between the Catinaccio and the Latemar, the gate to the western Dolomites. The vast mountain village also takes in the mountain pastures surrounding the Lake Carezza (1,560 m) up to the Passo di Carezza (1,752 m).
In summer Nova Levante offers numerous hiking and climbing opportunities, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, horse riding opportunities and a golf course with wonderful view.
In the forest of Carezza, which extends through large parts of the area (approx. 1,000 ha), the coveted "sound log" can be found which is used to manufacture string instruments and plucking instruments.
