Maso Corto (2,011 m) is the highest village of the Senales valley in South Tyrol.
Starting point after the hotels at trail n. 3, ascent of approx. 2 hours to refuge Bella Vista at 2,842 m. Descent by the same route or - in summertime - forward to the upper station of the glacier ropeway (3,212 m).
Starting point from behind the hotels at trail n. 1 to the valley "Langgrub". After 30 min. follow n. 11A to the Lazaun Alm (2430 m). Duration 2 hours.
Follow the road towards Naturno, after the car park keep on the left and follow path n. 7 through the meadow to the farm of Marchegg. To make a round trip follow the path till you reach the farms of Marchegg (cross the road) and follow the foot path n. 13 back to Maso Corto.
At 3,200 m the real winter sports enthusiasts begin to measure up in the Glacier Senales valley Ski Resort. Large ski slopes, well-maintained cross-country trails and a challenging toboggan run transform the skiing area into a meeting point for all snow-lovers and sun-seekers.
