Saltusio
Saltusio is a hamlet of San Martino. Saltusio is located along the Passiria valley road (South Tyrol) and is a distance of 9 km from Merano, 6 km from San Martino and 10 km from San Leonardo.
Saltusio is an ideal starting point for hikes to the mountains. Here is the station of the cable car Hirzer that will take you to the excursion area of the Hirzer plateau (1989 mt, Punta Cervina - Hirzerspitze 2781 mt), the ideal place for whichever adventurous excursions you prefer. Above Saltusio is the Merano High Mountain Trail, a path that leads around the Tessa Group Nature Park.
